Never heard of a Russian fishing cat. Kind of odd looking. I imagine it would be happier living a natural life in the wild. By the looks of it, so would the other cat in the family.

All rights are bloodthirsty.

In 70th in then soviet Baku one family kept lion, tiger and puma in one flat all together and every day a van delivered them fresh meat. In then hungry country! It was blessed from politburo and widely detailed in newspapers. Idiotic "experiment" lasted few years. With fully predictable wild end: once the animals mauled the couple to the death. The same with shimps: remember last time in Connecticut? Any animal can go wild, thats why dogs and cats were domesticated, just because of their size. And sure thousands years of domestication have polished their genes.

Agreed. Wild animals should remain wild. They are much happier, and people are safer.
