During the 2nd WW the US-Navy destroyed their surrounding atolls, whose are the barrier against high tides and tornado waves, because their vessels otherwise not were able to reach the islands. On some were constructed strongholds, and the Japanese aircrafts were bombing them - so are there additional a lot of big bomb craters in the corall based underground, where the seawater can come inside the island. And every high water comes over their islands and some of them since years have only brackish water, that cannot be drunk by huma...

During the 2nd WW the US-Navy destroyed their surrounding atolls, whose are the barrier against high tides and tornado waves, because their vessels otherwise not were able to reach the islands. On some were constructed strongholds, and the Japanese aircrafts were bombing them - so are there additional a lot of big bomb craters in the corall based underground, where the seawater can come inside the island. And every high water comes over their islands and some of them since years have only brackish water, that cannot be drunk by humans or cattle, nor used for watering their agrocultures.
So are those islands uninhabitable, but no country grants those islanders asylum. So are some islands of Tuvalu, Kiribati, but of other archipelagos too.
If US destroyed their homeland even though they not were beligerent and not gives them aid now, it's another war crime! The only country, that gives some of them asylum is New Zealand - up to 75 persons a year! Nobody wants to know, that they not longer have potable water! As long as a piece of sand looks out of the water, they have to stay! The men are working at all shipping lines of the world, with the hope, to find a home anywhere.
Compared to those, the Maledives will get out clean!
