faith-based organization ??? what kind of faith is being preached here ? why it is perceived to be ok to oppress individual in the name of the face or/and the social group of the followers?

For "Faith-Based" read "Reason-Free". I wonder how many Organisations that are based on "Reason-Free" thinking would get government recognition & support?

There is a wonderful documentary called "Jesus Camp". Check it out if you want to see how truly misguided these communities are.

Just remember, that many people are drawn to "Christianity" not because of Christ, or a love of truth, but because they see an awfully large flock which can be easily fleeced. Most Christian "Ministries" in the US today, fit this category more often than not.

Just something to throw in and think about.
