Wright--wherein the "soundbite effect" is debunked--If you listen to the whole sermon thart everyone was so riled up about you hear the truth. Gov'ts do lie and they fail, as ours has done. And when you lie to the people you are DAMNED just like the USA is. I agree with everything Rev. Wright said--in context, of course--not as a propaganda soundbite ...you might catch the Moyers interview on PBS.com Rev. But I can see by the way I phrased my sentence that could be implied. I was not clear on my original comment. What I meant to say was we have honored some really love life people in this country so therefore what is the big deal honoring Rev Wright. I hope that clarifies it better.
