I'm all about Obama in the upcoming election, but one area where I think he could take some pointers from McCain is on taxes and government spending. I'm in full agreement with McCain that the answer to our current deficit isn't necessarily raising taxes, but significantly reducing wasteful government spending. I think if Obama focused more on this than what new taxes he needs to raise, it'd be much more effective. We already have a lot of our money taken away, and the Federal government has shown time and time again that they're not good at managing our money, so take it away from them. That said however, Obama still gets my vote - not even close. |
