lol...last year there was a similar strike. if i am not mistaken it was during the world cup [football]. wives staged a protest in Colombia [if i am not mistaken again] saying husbands wouldn't get their daily dose of sexercise if they won't stop getting addicted to watching football with their mates.

I heard of some areas in Colombia where the gangsters' girlfriends also regularly go on sex strike when violence becomes too overwhelming. Although it would seem they don't stand their ground for significant periods of time(some guys just merely replace them with more complacent girls), their point is still made and somehow do decrease the rate of murders, agressions and gang wars. Ala in all, a good initiative, methinks.
