Atheism is attacked as it is a feared form of reasoning. Or maybe it is based on reasoning, whereas religions need the use of faith. Reasoning should dictate tolerance and this includes tolerance of other beliefs. I see nothing wrong with the religious contacting their spirit world. Many religious people gain from their visits to churches or other religious haunts. I only react against religion when it is corruptly misused by such people as neocons or other fundamentalist religions.
Probably the most annoying thing about atheists is the smug expression they wear. Merry Xmas everyone.
