This will only be a problem if there is no public option. The argument is a paper tiger otherwise.

Why would that make a difference? Is being forced to buy insurance through the government somehow less intrusive than being forced to buy insurance directly from an insurance company?

I think it is unconstitutional and will be shot down in the courts leaving the plan costing us even more.
