Good. I'm trying to locate a source that says the marine was gay. Although this horrible church protests gay funerals they also protest funerals of military people because of the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. Can anyone help out there? Update: I have not been able to find one article, other than the one from Reuters by John Hurdle (the source of this article) that indicates the marine was gay. Update 2: Corrections have been made to the original article stating the marine was not gay. The WBC does not protest soldier's funerals because they are gay. They think that god kills American soldiers, because homosexuality is accepted in the United States. Yes, laceym is exactly right. Look for the related clips. Several of us have posted a vast amount of information about this family. The connection with gays is that protesting at people's funerals who died of AIDS (whether they were gay, hemophiliac, or received blood transfusions didn't matter). This was the beginning of their mission to right the wrongs of the sin they seem to focus on most. When they didn't see Americans joining them, it seems that the members of the Westboro Baptist Church began to "chastise" America by protesting at soldiers funerals; thereby warning America that it will be destroyed. |
