Antara, that was so shocking and affecting to prob most of the world. But as i watched the coverage at the time, over and over, and felt so sad about it, and of course sad for the families and loved ones that survived, something occurred to me. The living watch it over and over again. The people that actually went through that horrible, horrible experience died. So for those moments, they experienced shock, terror, pain, whatever each individual felt. But then they died.

And we have no proof that the dead have any memory of that pain, or of the circumstances that caused their death.

So if there is any solace at all to be found, it seems to me that is it. The living will watch the eve...

It was not only Americans that died that day John....and besides, Al Qaeda are not confining their murderous atrocities to American targets on American soil.

As far as I am concerned, the heart and soul of whole western world was assaulted that day, and none of us should ever forget it.

I know I never will.

Anyways---Thanks for the link.

I liked your comment Antara.
I would not have felt any worse if had been Jews, Muslims, Chinese, Japanese, Mongolians, whatever. It was just people that died.
