Had a friend in Austin who wanted a change. Thought about moving him and his kid to Springfield, Missouri. Went and visited. Found out it had been a "sundown" town and not a lot had changed along racial tolerance.

Still lives in Austin.

Yeah, I recently moved from Austin (one of the top cities) to Beaumont (2nd worst). Can't wait to get back to Austin, or at least out of Beaumont.

Yes, Fayetteville is the absolute WORST, the jobs are menial, crime is off the charts, affordable housing is out of the question, and disabled veterans walk the streets of Fayetteville after serving their country and being stationed at Ft Bragg, losing their health, and social well-being, stroll the streets at night homeless near the downtown Airborne Museum and Library homeless, strung out on drugs, etc. The real deal, disabled veterans who seek medical care at the VA Center are told to call for an appointment for primary care to get an appointment, be prepared to call for four weeks to get someone on the phone or have someone call you back, BETTER YET, the only way is to go in person. ...

Fayetteville made the list as number three, unless a change takes place soon, Fayetteville NC will be number One on the list. Fayetteville should have qualified as the all-american city based on the following: a place where families, local citizens, and veterans can enjoy some degree of dignity.
