gingembre says: I'll add: Don't let the bastards grind you down. Hang onto your sense of humor. Eat to live, not live to eat. Set a good example. Keep your chin up. Live and let live. Be true to yourself. Set realistic goals. Watch your back. Pick your battles. Let it be. Do your best. Be kind. Listen. Empathize. Relax. Smile. Your turn. Be the change you want to see. Good manners go further than good looks. Neither a lender or borrower be. Write what you know. Don't borrow trouble. Read. Good ones, Mousie. Do what you like and like what you do. LOVE this clip-- and the comments...great motivational clip.. thanks.. Ditto...great motivational clip.........all the things my parents said as I grew up Plus this one: If you don't have anything nice to say; keep your mouth shut! (obviously, not under 7 words) Sit and listen; you will learn more. Thanks. "Hold on tight to your dream" -Jeff Lynn From the band E.L.O. Your turn.i like that advice, gingembre...as they say...one good turn deserves another... here are my best advice that i had in less than seven words...but more than ten lines...and less than a hundred... Be slow to blame, fast to appreciate. Be Still. Be gentle. Be on time on everything. Forgive with all your heart. Be bounteous with giving. Keep busy. Do not flirt, give genuine love. Be-at-one with everything. Don't pay interest in advance. Pay on time. Read between the words. See between the lines. Know what you want. Easy on the caffeine. See with your inner eye. Speak with your inner truth. ... Wow! Lots of good advice coming in! Sidegik, your "All will pass" reminds me of some excellent advice I received, and followed, that helped me through a rough patch at work several years ago: "This, too, shall pass". It's a reminder that bad experiences will fade into the background with time, so don't stress out and think that all is lost forever when things go wrong. I think that this is a wonderfully encouraging piece of advice to give people who are downhearted and/or stressed by problems they are experiencing. Ya know, reading the contributions so far is (for me) akin to meditation. I thank you all, and hope to contribute when I awaken from this trance. To solve writer's block, lower your standards. The enemy of good is better. Forgive. Never regret; at one point, it made you happy. Always say hello and goodbye. Ears Open,MouthShut,Brain Engaged k9riley99, tell your mom, "under 7 words" i know it is still one of the best advice i ever received and...give... thanks, here are some more, gingembre, also check out my clip "Teachings of Abraham", some of which are included here: Be creative. Travel within boundary. Live within means. Share the positive. Report good things. Turn the other cheek. Be on good terms with all. Believe in Justice. Do not justify your existence. Do not justify anything. ... Live within means.Ooh, this is such a great one, very important. Also: Use sweet words that edify. sidegik..........did your Mom really say Easy on the caffeine, really.
