suffering will increase the closer they get to the finishing line in Durban.
</P><P>Durban Weather Bureau forecaster Chris Jolly said on Tuesday that "the weather gets more gruelling as the days go by", with the temperatures breaking 40 degrees on the final day.
</P><P>"There is a fairly reasonable start (31 degrees Thursday), but it will be cooking on Saturday, and paddlers will start to suffer the closer they get to the coast, with moisture building up".
