I'm tired of hearing state and federal government officials talking about how they need to bring more tax revenue in. Instead of trying to get more money out of us that they'll just waste on useless programs anyway, why not spend less to get budgets into shape.

Oh yeah, to do that, we'd likely need less government officials to manage it all, which means they may be out of jobs. I guess it's too much to ask that elected officials do what we elect them to do (represent the needs of their constituents) vs what's in their own best interests.
