At that point kids will come up with new and unique applications that we can’t imagine today. That’s when it becomes exciting. Until then, it’s dead and boring. Sounds good if he is willing to pay for it. There are still vast tracks of the rural parts of the the US that are still limited to dial-up, let alone the broadband limits he has pronounced dead. Sign me up for faster speeds, but let's wire more than the cities before starting a "new" internet. Besides, what's wrong with utilities? You cannot have engines without tools. Not for me |
