I've had those light bulbs for almost two years now and my electric bill hasn't changed at all. Also, those bulbs were very expensive.

I've been using the for eight years, and I've only had to replace two. The last time I moved, it was the only time I took the light bulbs with me. Regular bulbs needed to be replaced every year or so. As demand for the CFLs has risen, the prices have come down.
