The REAL Napster
The final countdown has been going on since the dawn of time. Some are just now hearing the ticking sounds...

"it would be the most disastrous thing we could do for our own sake," jeopardizing the lives of U.S. troops in Iraq and trapping them from getting out of the Persian Gulf.

Can the neoCons still attempt to claim that would jeopardize the soldiers in Iraq's lives given that their scenario for Iraq proves a tissue of lies? How many more lives need to be sacrifices to the neoCon blood lust so they can maximize their profits.

We need a shift to defensive and bring our forces home. Let the neighbors deal with the problem for awhile. When they attack us- we obliterate them. But we need to leave them alone and let them try to fix themselves.
We should take the phone off the hook and close the curtains for awhile. Laissez-faire

Very well said Skwirl, their immediate neighbors should decide for themselves whether that country is a threat to them. I know of some prez who should stop making a fool of himself, and of his country. But hey, he never ceases to expand the boundaries of lie, stupidity, greed, and foolishness.

If he is no longer speaking for the nation why are we tolerating him?

Yes, why?? It never ceases to amaze me, the apathy at which the lies and deceit and evil and deconstruction of the Constitution, have been silently accepted by the numbed and dumbed-down masses.

The Patriot Acts, pre-emption, the Military Commissions Act, the condoning of torture, wiretapping, the loss of Habeus Corpus and now the very real threat of a nuclear war! The list goes on and on and on! When is enough, enough?? Time is running out.

I totally agree with what Ron Paul has pointed out and which many others believe: The USA plans to attack Iran.
Another word for "neo-cons," BTW, is 'zionist extremist.' in case the obvious either eludes us or is taboo. The war with Iran has the same lies and the same reasons as the war with Iraq: Oil Fever and Israel.

I'm sick though of hearing whinning about 'the people,' being apathetic. Are you apathetic? Am I apathetic? Are the other's who pop this and comment apathetic?

As its pointed out, though, these warmongering policies push ahead like an unstoppable bulldozer despite the democratic will of the people.

#1. This is not new. This has happened many times in many countries and has...

Every time I see another Bush loyalist go down in flames.
I have hope. But then I see Bush standing there with
VFW or American Legion warmongers, applauding his
idea of attacking Iran. And I know it doesn't take a
majority of bullies to make the country go the wrong way.

It wasn't a majority that destroyed German Democracy.
And that little turd ball was as goofy as this turd ball.
We have a great deal to fear with this nut job.

But are they really going down in flames? Are they merely hiding so that they can procreate more neocons and come at it again 4-8 or even 12 years down the road?

The best way to avoid war with Iran is to help build a strong Iraq and Afghanistan. Ahmedinijad just said he was willing to fill the vacuum in Iraq.
If Bush wanted a war with Iran, all he would have to do is bring the troops home from Iraq.
That said, I certainly agree the probabilitiy is very high that there will be bombing and military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.

This is just too ridiculous! Has the Bush administration lost all plot. What exactly is attacking Iran going to achieve? Stop al-quaeda. I think not, seeing as Iran is a Shia power and al-quaeda was founded upon Suni principles.
The US armed forces are already deployed and bogged down in ill thoughout and badly implemented wars in Iraq and Afganistan. The British are not going to get involved in any other wars (they are stretched to the limits as it is) and will certainly not support an attack on Iran. What do the neo-cons plan on doing ; embark on wars on three fronts?!
