Here are Fire Poi in action.

A Maori tradition.

Poi are so much fun but I suggest that you start off with the soft foam training ones and work up from there. although the only thing that holds you back with Poi is confidence to try.

The Fire Poi are usually on chains or wire ended with a steel rod or ball similar to a flail, which is wrapped in Kevlar, dipped in liquid paraffin left to soak and lit.


I think I will stick to training Poi for now though. lol
