ratilfar says: McSame, word for word. good video clip. Shows that conventions are full of lies (by both parties). He sacked one of his PR people (probably a tantrum about who is the boss), he couldn't choose a running mate who was "clean" so the Party gave him Palin. He contradicts himself. He shows signs of mental problems (obtained in Vietnam, no doubt). The Party reckons the speeches they wrote for GW worked, so they use them again. No need to reinvent the wheel. Suck in the same uneducated non-thinkers, and we will be free to organize Armageddon. I recall a quote from Oliver Stone's movie 'Nixon' : Nixon shuffles back alone, coming to a stop in front of a larger-than-life, full-length oil portrait of JOHN F. KENNEDY. Nixon studies the portrait, pads closer. Looks up. NIXON When they look at you, they see what they want to be. (then) When they look at me, they see what they are ... "Given that 82 percent of voters believe we are heading in the wrong direction" If this is the case "Given that 82 percent of voters believe we are heading in the wrong direction" If this is the case then why worry about McCain being elected? Because people might think that. but they may succumb to emotional appeals to patriotism, plus fear of terrorism and the "other". Remember that McCain is playing the "Maverick POW" card. The Daily Show that aired on Friday was the best in quite a while. They had a real biography of McCain that showed how he became protected from all of his future mistakes by his POW experience. The video above that has Bush and McCain saying the exact same things. A wonderful riff on small town America and the claim that people are more moral in small towns. The whole show was cathartic. |
