Chestnut, I haven't personally made one (shocking! I know...) but this one looks pretty good. The important thing is to use the jelly roll pan (15x10x1) and to put the frosting on while the cake is hot, and use pecans.

Thank you so much bignosemousie. My Mother use to make them and had a recipe but since she's passed on, I haven't been able to find it. Of course it's those little sidenotes like you've included that makes the difference between a good recipe and a great recipe.
