dulios says: Obama is the first Democrat since 1968 to win in Dixville Notch. A harbinger of things to come? Hopefully not the first time we'll see the "Obama Wins" headline today I need more coffee...I meant not the last time we'll see it. Be confident, probably after a couple of hours world media will announce Obama wins. My guess is, with at least 6 points ahead. But not sure what will come afterwards. Did anyone see Palin on last night's SNL Presidential Bash? For someone who was supposed to be doing a lighthearted banter, you could tell she was seething underneath. She got pretty much no laughs; there was an air of tension. I talked to a friend who works for Newsweek a few mins ago. According to what he heard so far, a landslide victory is on the way for Obama, something like 56-40. Let's wait and see. I was an election inspector, working at the polls from 6:00 to 21:00. Since I wasn't sure I would be posted to my own ward, I voted early - good thing. My state allows on-site election day registration with proper ID and I signed up about 30 people who otherwise wouldn't have been able to vote. Obama took my ward by a 2-1 margin. I see that some of the right-wingnut clippers have already started whining. Sometimes, schadenfreude feels so good. Indiana?!? I can't believe it !!! |
