enbar says: A Guardian reporter gets a tour of Kentucky's Creation Museum, currently under construction. His comments are mildly amusing. See also http://AnswersInGenesis.com. What a great concept! Perhaps they could assemble it on a cruise ship and make a fortune from the fundie crowd. They could christen it "The Ship Of Fools" the bookshop, which, far from being another biblical epic, is done up like a medieval castle, framed with heraldic shields and filled with images of dragons - dragons, you see, being what dinosaurs becameThis reminds me of part of a lecture I overheard about three years ago, as I was waiting for a friend who was in a meeting taking place inside a Community Church. The enthusiastic speaker was explaining that there is no problem with the Bible omitting the mention of dinosaurs because the term dinosaur wasn't used back then. He said that whenever the Bible mentions dragons it is referring to what we call dinosaurs. Problem solved! I had blocked this episode from memory u... Man, they just never get tired of being wrong. Interestingly, The Bible does mention large animals like Dinosaurs. Job 40 and 41 mentions "the Behemoth" and "Leviathan" which, when you read their descriptions could be some of the creatures we know as dinosaurs. Dragons, maybe, but I'm not so sure. I'm a Creationist, and I believe there is as sufficient evidence supporting Creationism as there is evolution. Fact is, I believe Evolution is partly correct... God is all about change, and nothing has been set in stone as far as that goes. They could have been deformed, diseased, or something. I've seen people like that running around the streets of New York.LOL I've seen people like that running round the streets of New York." That's a little asinine... @CyanSmoker: OMG!! |
