Awwww always sad when your pet dies! I am dreading the day my 'Ria' goes, I just wont know how to handle it, she's 8 now so a few years yet thank goodness.

Smaller dogs do tend to have longer lives. Larger ones are more the 11-13 year range. We were fortunate to have our SIberian get to 15 without any serious medical issues.
