Just thinking out loud here, do I really want my child to be learning about masturbation at the ripe old age of 5? Personally I think this idea borders on pedophilia but then of course what do I know I am simply a feather brained bird butt, but to this old bird this is a LOONY idea and should fly over the cuckoo's nest with the rest of the loony lefts ideas.

I wonder why the UN thinks it is important for 5-8 year olds to receive instruction on masturbation. People complain that schools cannot even teach history correctly, or in an unbiased manner. I wonder what makes them think that they can handle sexuality correctly.

Lots of kids don't have parents, or parents who can deal with this stuff. Why should those kids suffer because of an absence or inadequacies of parents. This sounds like a good, enlightened program to me.

Yeah 5-8 is a great time to teach them about touching themselves and self gratification. Perhaps the UN should consider ETHICS and MORALITY and RELIGION as something worthwhile to teach rather than self gratification.

John my oldest is almost 13 and she still doesn't know about Santa Clause, but i should have taught her about that stuff at age 5? Talk about stealing innocence.
FYI, i think it was last year they just started learning some stuff at school.

If it is a half decent program it will include your "ethics" etc. (Though no religion, I hope) No sex education course that I know of avoids the human, emotional and ethical aspect of sex. Can you let me know of one?
