I've been a foster Mum for many, many cats and kittens through the years and it's the greatest, most fun experience ever! I highly recommend it to everyone who has the space and patience to take care of a marauding hoard of spunky little kittens. It can be hard letting go though sometimes and three of my little foster kids never made it back to the sanctuary. They were adopted by me! I'm so lucky.

I hope to be able to foster home cats and dogs in the future. Right now, my cat will not allow it. He's really quite sweet but is too vicious when he plays. When we adopted him, he had been fostered and that helped him get socialized, but they recommended he be in a "no pets, no young children home."

Thanks to folks like you, TNCBT - many kitties found homes instead of euthanization.
