60% helped with real pills, 40% with placebos- and that is spectacular?????? but with the REST of the studies its even worse. come on people get off these pills! I WILL ADD THAT i was overdosing on CHOLESTEROL meds and required a surgery TOO- and my dr tried to cover up pain problems WITH antidepressents and other dx's!! You quite obviously don't suffer from depression, do you, Singer? That's why you can say, so casually, "Come on people, get off these pills". You obviously haven't a clue what you're talking about. I am genetically predisposed to, and have suffered from acute, suicidal depression since I was 8 years of age. What has kept me, and still keeps me going is MEDICATION. I've come back to this clip to apologise. I didn't mean to be rude. I over-reacted and I'm sorry. Please accept my apology. Would it be possible for patients on such drugs to do their own placebo trail? Mad? I've not yet used anti-depressants, but have probably needed them at times. In addition to my normal cocktail of 30 or so tablets a day, I'm also currently on strong pain killers. Why is it the FIRST inclination of doctors to pop you with chemicals as the remedy. If they worked then US drug companies would put themselves out of business. So, that's never going to happen, ever. Whatever solution these druggies might have, the best they'll peddle is a 50% solution so that like the street druggies, you will keep coming back for a lifetime of their profit. Why don't the doctors try the proper alternatives FIRST before filling us full of drug cocktails, which cause their own problems. Why don't... |
