Squints says: No, not that Apple. The original Apple. As an artist, he retains the original and the right to sell it, and use it to show his artistic ability. But he must have signed a contract with Apple giving them the exclusive rights to reprint for sale. I feel bad for him mostly because he gave up too much of his rights as the artist, but this is the way it goes when you make commercial art. Not much different than someone who designed the ATT death star logo and then wants to try to sell it to another company for use as their logo. Sorry. You already got paid. |
