zasel says: Imagine two men kiss and get thrown out of a bar for showing affection. Let's see, if a man kissed a woman or even if two women kissed, I bet that would be just fine. But two men? We can have none of that. God forbid two men should show the same affection for each other than any mixed-gender couple might show! What a disgrace!! Very sad. I would have thought Boston would have been a little more liberal than that. Yes drjamie03, I agree with you. I lived in Boston for several years. As a matter of fact, that is where my partner Arnold and I met 25 years ago. I have always found Boston to be a very open and friendly city when it comes to gays and lesbians. However, no matter how progressive a city or town might be, there are always uptight or bigoted people around that can make it hard for us, or other minority groups. We've been living in Montreal, Canada for 22 years, and it is very different up here. |
