This pioneering PC made instant geeks out of millions of people back in the '80s. But what lies within the Commodore 64's fetching brown shell?

The Amiga was excellent for kids to be heroes on. Music skills were recognized, the art side was great, the t-shirt designs and the expensive ribbon to do it, almost proper games, what's a virus (and does putting vitamins in the disdrive cure it?). Even a few educational games that the kids enjoyed.

I wanted an Amiga so bad, but never had one. I transitioned to a 486. It wasn't a happy transition.
