egsnyder says: What's the connection? Seems that a snake CAN swallow a kangaroo. But it may take weeks to digest. But Value Village CANNOT "digest" overflow donations, the aftermath of unsold "stuff" from weekend garage/yard sales! Consequently, lots and lots of perfectly good, reusable stuff ends up in the dumpster and the landfills. Any thoughts on avoiding this queueing, peak period problem? One of the big benefits of Clipmarks is that we aren't limited to 140 characters. I wanted to explore the connection between peak planning and donation overload but in 140 characters... I couldn't do it.! Thanks Clipmarks! /e No doubt that this is more of a problem in Canada where the yard/garage sale season is compressed into a few months. |
