Unfortunately, I think the deal is already done. Do not expect the Dems to go for impeachment. They fear that doing so will look like a partisan act of revenge (see Wikipedia under Whitewater!)

They're going to try and convice the US public they are capable of government over the next two years and I fear that impeachment is not part of that program.

Having said that, a series of congressional committees reviewing what this administration has done may well turn up enough dirt that impeachment becomes a universally backed moral imperative.

We can only hope

I gotta agree with srenshaw. Impeachment would require the Democrats to grow a spine, and I'm not sure it would do any good anyhow. I never know what to think of these online polls. I think "not a scientific survey" doesn't really capture their unreliability -- for example, I just voted twice.
