I don't know if its illegal unless you try to earn money from it.
Veoh is a fairly big site and it shows streaming movies and encourages downloads.
I think you have to keep it personal and cannot collect any money from it or it becomes illegal.
I know the veoh player limits the number of downloads you can have before you have to delete them to get any more.

I just checked it. I can only get streaming video. Not illegal if you're not downloading as far as I know. The about page says they are public use and free access.

That site is probably one of the 'off-shore' sites Like Pirate Bay that thumbs their nose at the U.S. because it's not in U.S. territory. Also, I HIGHLY doubt that SONY pictures has granted a free-streaming license to said site as the movie itself is still theaters as I type this.

And just to clarify for those of you who don't know, copyright protects the rights of the film even if you offer it for free. That means the owners of that site are guilty (if they don't have siad licenses) and anyone that is a client will be dragged in as well.

Bottom line: If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Seconf bottom line: PT Barnum was right....there IS a sucker born every minute.

I just checked and that domain is listed as being in the U.S. Don't expect these guys to be around long if they are 'streaming' Spiderman 3 from their servers.

Personally, I torrent quite a bit. Thus, I find sites like this interesting, yet of little use to me. I'll take the "DVD" as opposed to the stream. Although you're never 100% safe, you just have to know how to protect yourself.

I watched the bootleg spider man on this site, what a load of crap this movie has been consistently in all its sequels. I really don't know what attracts audience to this movie (I'm a x-men fan so I'm not against comic book characters, but spider man just sucks and it is boring).
