I have known people like that.

My neighbor carries a set of clippers and mini-scissors to groom her CAT upon finding any minor "imperfection" on this sweet little kitty cat. One day I knelt down to pet the cat, and she runs over to us and cuts a single hair near it's butt. I wasn't even looking at end of the animal anyway? I won't let her near my Persian cat.
