Being we now are so damn politically correct, I would not be surprised to learn that Homeland Security or someone higher up received intel on this maggot but to avoid any sense of upsetting Muslims, they gave the hands-off order to the military. If so, that person(s) should be charged with treason.

U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.
