50 shots is just outrageous, isn't it! This is not justice, something is terribly wrong when the police feel they needed to send a barrage of bullets at unarmed citizens and the courts find no guilty verdict, this is a sad, sad, state of affairs! I'd bet the Irish police have not fired 50 rounds in anger in 5 years. Mind you at least two civilians are dead. I'm only guessing that race played a large part in the deaths and the verdict. Does it indicate that the judiciary are racist too? Unarmed kids die and nobody pays. Obama might gain!? As racist as this country is Obama or no other black man will ever be president... at least not in my lifetime. The fact that these cops were acquitted is a crime in itself. I remember the good ol' days when Gestapo Rudy was running the city, and he would defend his cops no matter what heinous crimes they committed against the black citizens of the city. I do not remember any outrageous police actions that ever involved a Caucasian suspect. The victims were always AfroAmerican or Hispanic. Before he even knew all the facts, Rudy would be out there declaring he knew personally that the police did nothing wrong, and then he would actually work behind the scenes to try to manipulate public opinion. I thought Bloomberg was better than that, but this case kinda shows that when it comes to police brutali... Even if no 'Change' happens, if America does not at least vote for the possibility of 'Change' then the rest of the world will not be forgiving. There can be no feel good factor if you elect a 70+ Republican, so even if the American system is beyond reform, that possibility of 'Change' that may be just verbiage is lost. JFK didn't produce a lot but it felt good and so it was good. What then? Wait for another election to correct the false chad and stooge judges election? In the great democracy? |
