If there is such a thing "to save the world" (I don't like the phrase) it could only be done by the struggle of women. No hope from my gender. Women had "saved the world" once, back around 10,000 BCE by discovering agriculture and pottery; pioneering our civilization. I'm afraid, now they will need to do it once more, by fighting for their rights and freedoms themselves, without letting this important task to hypocrite male politicians of global capitalism. Men and Capitalism. Hard to pick which is the greater evil. I should do my part for a better world. Give up my business, throw my money out the window, then dive out myself. Good idea. Whew, cool extension. Very much appreciated, thanks. As for "closing your business" etc. above: Have you ever heard the 19th century utopical socialist (and a bourgeoise himself) Robert Owen? No sensible person could suggest capitalists "to share the revenue with the workers" or "to close the business", to dissolve the irrational and injustice system called capitalism. This is, as it is called, utopia. You don't need to do anything to harm capitalism; it's already been destroying itself since the early 20th century. But the worst thing, it ruins the world while it dies and becomes more and more aggressive. This is the tragedy. Well I can't fairly expect you to understand what you haven't fully experienced. While you imagine it a tragedy, it continues to happily function-- the most successful and freedom creating and enhancing economic system in the history of the world. Utopia is a cruel mirage. Sorry, Godfrey, but LMAO. I'm all about spreading joy That's what I like about you. .. apology not necessary. Your laughter is evidence of mission accomplished |
