</P><P><IMG width="590" height="392" src="http://blog.scifi.com/tech/pics/all_w.jpg" alt="all_w.jpg" /></p> <P>Designer Eli Nagashima must have been feeling moody when he created <A target="_BLANK" href="http://www.flodesign.it/index.php?menu1=3&menu2=2">this table</A>, which as far as we can tell is just called "Flat." Thanks to a built-in multicolor LED, the tabletop changes color, apparently to better match its environment — à la a mood ring. Nagashima based the counter chameleon on the concept of synesthesia, described as "a condition in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another, as when the hearing of a sound produces the visualization of a color."
