It will be interesting to see what responses are given to questions related to exit strategy by the Bank of England economist, Charles Bean, during his week long tour around the country during which he is meant to be 'selling' QE to the public in general. Another indicator this morning of the predicament besetting global economies was the statement from the Russian economy ministry which estimated that Russian GDP had fallen 10.2% in the 1st half of 2009, with industrial production over the same period falling by 14.9%.
