abailart says: I was lucky enough to see the exhibition in London five or so years ago. Enhancing, uplifting and beautiful. Think there is an exhibition in Manchester UK on now. As Bob Hope once sang: 'Thanks For the Memory'. The exhibition was tremendous and I remember it well. It was at Brick Lane in east London and it was our first date. Exhibitions come and exhibitions go and, plasticised corpses notwithstanding, we're still together. Anyone gets the chance - go and see - it really is amazing. I was at the Brick Lane one, and met an American woman who took me out for a meal cos she found my accent 'kinda cute'. You may have seen me there but mistaken me for one of the exhibits! My son took me to see this and then my daughter took her little girl age 6 to see it too. We all came away very impressed . What's funny is one of the local schools would not allow a grade 5 class to see it on a field trip, yet several other children my granddaughters age saw it and they were all equally fascinated by it all. I'm sure some of the grade 5's did see it too. I'd like to go again if it ever comes back. I missed it when it was in Houston. I think my 4-year-old would find it fascinating. . . . and met an American woman who took me out for a meal . . .A local curry I hope ! It was, Mick! About a hundred yards away from the exhibition. |
