Like he couldn't remember where he left them?
Or he got home himself but ...

Would anyone opt to have him in the pilot seat of a passenger plane with that record?
Would the authorities allow him fly?

McCain III finished near the bottom of his graduating class in 1958.

Was that the bottom of a class of 500?

Wikipedia states his class ranking as "894 of 899."

No wonder he kept losing planes.

You would think after 2 or 3 that they might wonder and given that he was no genius. [b]"894 of 899"!!! OMG. It must have been that he wasn't suitable for ground warfare where you look your enemy in the eye. Or may be it was a strings thing, with daddy pulling them.
