Of all of our vices, greed must really rank as the worst. We take it to new heights every day.

Irreligious? Disagreed, they follow the teachings of the profits.

No! Atheists don't do so! They try to know instead believe all! Christians and Jews have an insurance for reaching the heaven by birth! Mostly catholics, they have no problems to drank a continent in blood! It's in the name of god! And if HE made so much mistakes, like food, that can get everybody, than it's surely promised by the Lord, that this is only for a specific sect (those who have the power to do it), an they may correct the mistake of their Lord!
