a lot of the time, the "slider" starts at the very bottom when i'm trying to make a selection smaller - so i can never figure out how to get around that. never noticed this tidbit of information until today, though - thanks guys!

very good to know. =) I've also recently discovered the joy of right-clicking your target-clip to bring up the little toggle bar thing. that thing can be so helpful sometimes.

Oops, i just realized that we were both talking about the same thing (slider = toggle bar). Try highlighting your selection first (with the text cursor) and *then* clicking the "turn on Clip Mode" icon.

I have yet to use the slider. Don't need it.
First check to see if there are elements you want to remove from the area you're going to clip, if there are, use click2zap to remove them.
Then turn on clipmode and either click a box or boxes, or highlight, as the case warrants. Remember, that if you're doing both you must do the highlighted segment last.

excellent tips, anyone know any way of downloading all your clipmarks to hard disk ... Somethings like click the 'Mine' button, then export to...
I'd love to get my own clips into 'Scrapbook' (Firefox Extension')

pwright8, this issue has come up before. I believe there is talk about doing something you suggested. You might want to pop or comment on my clipmark just to add your voice to those asking for this.
