It's unconscionable that the USA, Russia and China use these and I wonder if the USA still use or sell these horrible civilian killers, Esp in Afghanistan?

The UN documented that Israel used cluster bombs in the 2006 War in Lebanon; cluster bombs sold to them by the USA.

As long as people can still say "victims of war" without being physically ill, there will be slaughter of soldiers and civilians.
We just don't fn learn.

I'm still unhinged about how few 'Merikans are really anti-war...mostly USAnians seem to like winning wars but whine about any inconvenience.
Those poor families who are truly distressed by losing loved ones are put in that position by having "volunteered" (being duped into) joining the Military through misplaced Patriotism or propaganda and jingoistic lying recruiters...I find it hard to be sympathetic for the soldiers who chose that path but not so for their kids and wives, husbands.
But that whole conscience thing seems to be out of "style" here in 'Merika, innit? For most proles, anyway.

You might be right.

One factor to consider, though, is that 'protest,' is out there put you just aren't hearing about it. It's not given the coverage it was in the late 60's.

It's not so much out of style as out of media coverage.

But those with 'conscience,' are probably in a minority -- as usual -- with the Silent Majority going along with the day by day stuff of their lives -- as usual.

For most proles, anyway.

But I got neighbors who want to nuke the world ---- and letting everyone know they own guns, since Obama was elected.
