In a ruling that honors the USA"s Freedom of Information Act, a federal Judge has ruled that the Bush administration has acted illegally in keeping secret the identities of visitors to the White House and deleting computer records about them.

The deletions, which to my mind constitute a cover up, seem like a pernicious use of government power and an attempt to obscure the historical record of the real influences on the Bush administration.
