We've been saving up a bit for a little party!

First thing I'm going to do is pop a cork on a bottle of champagne. Fill up the glasses of Erika, Tom, Alice, Greg and Susan and we're all going to click our glasses together and shout: Hurrah!

We'll have to decide what restaurant to go to, probably either Red Lobster or P.F. Chang's. Afterwards go to see either "W." or "Body of Lies."

I'm thinking a brainless action flick might be more fun, with treacherous CIA agents and everybody running around blowing things up and try to figure out who really are the good guys.

But a move that mocks George Bush also has some appeal.

Next day I'm going to set up my TV to skip all News channels and every...

I'll believe when I see it. This election cycle has been as crazy as the last 7 years. If hope wins, it means that the bulk of the American people have come to their senses. As a non-American I would celebrate that.

Certainly better to wait to see it before believing it.

Democrats have been very studious to tell their supports to don't believe in victory, take nothing for granted, and work through Nov. 4th as if they expect to lose.

Only last night, this morning, one day before the elections have some of their noted spokespersons finally stopped holding their breath and admit to having confidence and expectations of victory (then they themselves smile in mild surprise at what they've just said).

Good results? Well, any win (270 electoral votes required) but a good win would be anything over 300 electoral votes.

Other good results? Over 20 new Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives and 6 or 7...
