I haven't used my TV in over two years now. It was about two years ago that my wife and I both got our own laptops instead of sharing one. We use http://www.grabaid.com to watch everything in bed now.

We recently moved to Costa Rica, and did not bother buying a TV, or even a stereo. Our laptops are replacing TV and radio.
