I might be just too old to appreciate this, but I really don't need this type of relationship with my fast food.

Also, please note that the Texas Double Whopper includes bacon.

All is right in my world.

Maybe the BK board of directors is simply tired of paying all those behind the counter part time uninsured employees subsistence wages.
Maybe they would rather cater to the shareholders and pass the labor on to the customer.

BNM about bacon, this past Friday a local radio station finally tried the vodka bacon they started 3 wks ago. In a mixed drink like a Caesar the bacon couldn't really be tasted, straight up it was declared GOOD, and a nice bacon flavour.

Thanks for telling me that, tanyamm. I was sure it would be good.

They will be smaller than standard Burger King outlets, sized to squeeze into strip malls, food courts and casinos.
Strip-malls? Seems that they are taking a play from Subway's book. I wonder if they are moving to a different economic model which will allow them many more outlets than their current sizing does.

We do have a BK in the food court at the near-by regional mall. It's about the same size as or even smaller than the Subway there, and it's located in the same spot McD's pulled out of.

I think its a fun idea. I just hope they're not going to be as over priced as Starbucks.
