ratilfar says: Everything is peachy, just fine, move along, nothing to see here. 27/12/2007 Source: Turkey worried Israel's support waning over Kurd issue Security sources told Haaretz on Wednesday that as Turkey steps up its offensive operations against the rebel Kurdish forces operating in northern Iraq, there is increased suspicion in the Turkish government and its defence establishment toward the United States and Israel over the issue. According to the same sources, Turkey is following "very closely" every step and statement made by Israel and fears that Jerusalem is not supporting it in its action against the Kurds to the degree that it expects. Turkish suspicions are in great part fueled b... Not surprised, since there is another group that operates within Kurdistan, the MEK who seek to expand into Iranian territory. My guess is that if fighting continues, Israel will sell more arms to the Kurds, with Washington looking the other way, which in turn may move Ankara closer to Tehran.
