gingembre says: Here's a bit more (and this is one of my favorites, from personal experience): "Do things for other people. I firmly believe that you are the most yourself when you are thinking the least about yourself and last thing you want to be thinking about now is you. It doesn't have to be an official volunteer gig but those do get something else on your calendar." I find that tips like these also help combat depression. Check out this girl's other blog posts. Not only does she have empathy and a sense of humor, she also loves cats and books. Thanks. The urge to clip never seems to diminish! It was very satisfying to be able to resume clipping after my hiatus. Hey Gingembre baby; luv u! There are tons many things to do: Read. Do something one's always wanted to do, but never got around to. Learn to yodle. Learn a new language. Build a rock garden. Knit. Take a pottery class Travel. Paint the house. Get a kitten. Rearrange the furniture. Volunteer. Maaan, do I feel like a procrastinator. Hey Gingembre, nice to see you girl. Thanks. I'm glad to be back. Get on the computer and make some cyber friends -- they are great, oh that reminds me -- missed you. Thanks, kk. I'm back, but am having major problems clipping for some weird reason, despite re-installing Clipmarks several times. Only once (this very clip!) was I able to get the clip mode to appear, following a re-installation of Clipmarks. So for the time being I pop, save and comment here, but I cannot clip any articles. I wonder if this happens to other folks, and if so, what is the solution to the problem? Ahhh, I found the solution to my clipping woes! With both Firefox and Flock (latest versions of each) I had been able to clip one article and no more--I couldn't get into clip mode any longer. This morning I finally figured out the problem. The pop-up blocker wouldn't allow the clip tool to work! So I told the blocker to allow Clipmarks and, voila!, I can clip again. I clipped twice in a row from Flock just to make sure that all is well now. So far, so good. |
