zasel says: Britain's new prime minister, Gordon Brown, seems to have adapted the approach that John Kerry espoused during his 2004 run for the U.S. presidency. At the time, Kerry was thought to be an appeaser, as well as someone who just didn't see the real threat of terrorism for what it was; an all out declaration of war. It's interesting how slowly but surely, almost all of our allies are beginning to see Kerry's approach as being sensible as well as practical. We shall see who is right as this mess plays itself out. My money is on Kerry and Brown. |
